I was in the outpatient program and it totally changed my life. The staff put a lot of thought and effort into the sessions. We were encouraged to talk about our problems and get feedback from the group. Highly recommend Glenn Oaks

My son has been there for a week. I know that Dr. Silas is doing his best to solve his problems. The therapist, Tara, is amazing. She has a gift, seriously. She has a soft heart along with a sharp mind. She has been able to force my son to look inside himself for answers. We have been dealing with mental health for years. He has been in three mental hospitals. This has been our best experience. If all mental health professionals conducted themselves the way these two do, we wouldn't have a mental health crisis in U.S. My son has Medicaid so it is very hard for the doctor to get enough time but Dr. Silas has thought outside the box and Tara concurs. My son's normal therapist worked under Dr. Silas years ago and she has a favorable impression of him. We pray my son gets the help and insight he needs to succeed. No hospital can heal anybody without help from The Healer, but our experience with Glen Oaks is certainly positive.

I went to the Intensive outpatient program on September 2016 for major depression, anxiety and grief, going there was the best decision i ever made. The experience was awesome, the therapist Greg, was absolutely wonderful, they taught me tools to deal with my illness. The group therapy was so helpful, everyone i came in contact with were friendly.I would highly recommend the IOP classes. Thank you to everyone there that contributed to my well being.

They take care of the youth here. It feels like a family. At the time I'd rather be in there than in the outside world. The staff was amazing, food was amazing. Really was kind of like high school tho but what do you expect when there are teenagers. We understood each other and took care of the younger ones like they were siblings.

This place has stepped their game up in comparison to other reviews. I went in for an alcohol detox and was treated with a tremendous amount of respect. The staff was very professional and kind, as if they were taking care of their own family. I had a private room, the food was awesome and the facility is segregated for mental illness and substance abuse. More violent, unstable or volatile patients are in a completely different wing. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs to reach out for help.
